2006 NPC USA Heavyweight and Overall Champion
An interview with Heather Policky with SuperBodyPart.net
Heather Policky turned pro a few days after her 29th birthday and she is ready to revolutionized the pro ranks with own brand of super size bodybuilding. No looks like or is quite built like Policky.
The 5'-6 ½" Colorado bodybuilder weighed a glorious 174-pounds at the NPC USA Championships. Taking the heavyweight and overall title was the culmination of six years of competition.
A week after that show she is doing a photo shoot carrying ten more pounds. But this is what is extraordinary about Policky, she carries size and weight like no other woman in the sport. Mass and curves are amplified on this woman of Polish descent. Originally from Nebraska, she is indeed what many would call a corn-fed gal. Amply and voluptuous in her body design, Policky started competing in 2000 weighing 150-lbs.
"I was a big girl the first time I ever set foot onstage in bodybuilding," she says with a robust laugh. "Anybody who thinks I suddenly got big is wrong. Yes, I’ve put on muscle over the years but just having muscle is not going to make you a champion. You have to have shape and definition to make it all work. I have all of those."
